Assignment Overview

Our client is seeking two experienced Operations Engineers to join the Monitoring & Operation Support team. The team will consist of three members, working during regular office hours with on-call responsibilities outside business hours when required.

We are looking for analytical and proactive problem-solvers with a strong technical background, a DevOps mindset, and a passion for reliability, automation, and customer-centric operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to detect anomalies and trends.
• Automate operational processes to enhance efficiency and scalability, reducing human errors.
• Act as 2nd-line support, resolving complex incidents, especially in the Intelligent Control Environment (ICE) and off-board autonomous vehicle systems.
• Deploy urgent changes when no workaround exists for high-priority incidents.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve escalated technical issues.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and provide updates on incident progress and resolution.
• Lead root cause analysis to prevent recurring system incidents.
• Document solutions and train onsite/customer support teams on ICE/off-board operations.
• Participate in major incident reviews and contribute to process improvement efforts.
• Continuously improve incident management and service reliability processes.

Work Environment

• Location: Onsite/Hybrid in Södertälje
• Agile setting: Must be familiar with agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, XP
• Methods: Expected to use DevOps practices, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and automation-first approaches

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Degree in Computer Science or related field

Technical Skills:

• Programming in Java, Kotlin, C#, Scala
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Bash
• CI/CD tools: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins
• Cloud: AWS, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt
• Deployment tools: ArgoCD, Crossplane
• Monitoring: Grafana, Prometheus, Tempo, Loki, OpenTelemetry
• Messaging/Data: Apache Kafka, Redis, DynamoDB
• Networking/Security: Cilium
• Familiarity with Jira, GitLab

Additional Experience:

• Prior work in technical operations/support roles is highly valued
• Strong understanding of infrastructure & observability
• Agile and DevOps mindset is a must
