Purpose of the Position
The Global Product Manager (GPM) will be responsible for managing specific products within the conventional wound care category and contributing to broader strategic marketing and evidence planning efforts.
Assignment Breakdown
- 40% – Product lifecycle management and market support for wound care products
- 50% – Support Global Marketing Manager for VLU (Venous Leg Ulcer) solutions:
- Update VLU strategy and roadmap
- Develop internal communication plans
- Drive organizational adoption and change
- Contribute to new product introduction planning
- 10% – Coordinate development of an evidence plan across chronic product categories to enhance claims and enable solution selling
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and report KPIs related to sales, gross profit, and pricing
- Maintain Clinical and Marketing Messages (CMM) files for assigned products
- Conduct assortment analysis and manage the product assortment
- Track and evaluate brand/portfolio commercial performance and propose corrective actions
Decision-Making Scope
- Manage the product portfolio: product releases, discontinuations, labeling, and product info updates
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Science, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or sales within:
- Medical devices, Life Sciences, or IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics)
- Experience in a global or international role
- Previous work in a local market is a plus
- Ideally experienced working in cross-cultural environments
- Understanding of product development, operations, and regulatory processes
- Fluent in English
