Nederman is now looking for a dedicated Test Engineer to join our new, state-of-the-art Innovation Center in Helsingborg.
What you will do
As a Test Engineer at Nederman, you will be a key player in our product validation and development process. Based in our brand-new Innovation Center in Helsingborg, you will support a wide range of R&D activities, collaborating closely with engineers across the Nederman Group to ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will plan, set up, and perform product tests, analyze results, and continuously seek opportunities for technical improvement. With your curiosity and attention to detail, you will explore product limits and help drive innovation forward.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
• Planning and executing product tests and reporting results in a clear and structured way
• Collaborating with both local and global development teams to support their testing needs
• Designing or modifying test rigs and equipment to enable robust testing
• Interpreting relevant test standards such as ISO and ASHRAE, and designing test setups accordingly
• Managing test data, comparing test runs, and maintaining long-term documentation
• Contributing to the development of new test methods and improvements
• Supporting other activities at the Innovation Center, including customer visits and training sessions
• Providing comprehensive feedback beyond pass/fail results, seeking innovation opportunities, learning from mistakes, and exploring product limits
We believe you have
To succeed in this role, we expect that you have:
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in a technical environment, ideally working with developing, creating, and running product tests
• Hands-on experience with workshop tools such as lathes, mills, and welding equipment
• A structured and curious mindset with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
It is also beneficial if you have:
• Experience with airflow and pressure measurements
• Familiarity with VFD programming and sensor data collection
• Training or certification in lifts and overhead cranes
• 3D-printing experience
