We're looking for a Technical Business Development Lead!

As a Technical Business Development Lead, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between commercial teams and product/tech teams at Æntidote. Your main responsibility will be to translate commercial needs into product development insights while ensuring that Sales Managers and CSMs are equipped with the technical knowledge they need to engage effectively with clients.

Your role is both strategic and hands-on, ensuring that Æntidotes product development aligns with market needs and that internal teams can confidently communicate technical aspects to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bridge Commercial and Product Teams: Act as the link between sales, customer success, and the product/tech teams, ensuring a seamless flow of information between market needs and technical capabilities.
  • Drive Product Innovation from Market Insights: Gather customer feedback, industry trends, and competitor insights to inform and inspire product development, ensuring Epidemic Sound stays ahead in the market.
  • Support Sales and CSM Teams in Technical Aspects: Assist Sales Managers and CSMs in sales meetings, onboarding, and ongoing customer interactions, providing clear explanations of product capabilities and technical nuances.
  • Develop Scalable Solutions for Customer Challenges: Identify common technical challenges faced by customers and work with internal teams to develop solutions that improve scalability and efficiency.
  • Track and Report Technical Requests: Maintain a structured feedback loop between sales, customer success, and product teams to ensure technical improvements are prioritized effectively.


Craft expertise:


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical business development, product management, or solutions engineering role within the music, tech, or platform space.
  • Strong understanding of digital rights management (DRM), Content ID, and platform monetization strategies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and commercial teams.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, commercial messaging for sales and customer-facing teams.
  • A strong analytical mindset with the ability to break down technical problems and provide strategic solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
