Navinci is a Swedish biotech company specializing in developing innovative solutions for studying in situ protein expression and interactions. With a focus and a strong legacy in developing in situ proximity ligation assay technology, Navinci has established itself as a center of excellence in the field and has a broad portfolio of products that help researchers study protein interactions in depth.

We are now looking to expand our sales and marketing team in Uppsala, Sweden, and are looking for a Sales & Marketing Manager to join us. We’re on an exciting journey to grow the company. Key responsibilities

  • Generate and refine leads into sales projections and closed deals
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and material for key products and launches in collaboration with internal team
  • Represent the voice of the customer and sales & marketing in internal project teams
  • Accountable for marketing and communications strategies, corresponding budget preparation and KPIs. This may include, for example, web content marketing, SEO, social media, congress activities and PR.
  • Ensuring that brand and graphic standards are developed and maintained
  • Communicate complex technology solutions in a well-articulated, simple and succinct manner to the target audience.
  • Provide management and oversight of external firms and agencies, if applicable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Marketing or Business
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in the life science industry, experience from protein research or laboratory tools is a plus.
  • History of proven success with customer relationships, meeting sales targets and marketing KPIs.
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills (precise/purposeful/clear); in addition, a second language is preferred
  • Self-leadership with strong ability to meet deadlines
  • Communicative, social and positive
  • Teamwork skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Office tools. Experience with graphic design, Photoshop (or other Adobe programs), CMS (f.ex. WordPress) and CRM system.
  • Travel is required


The role will report to the Head of the commercial department. However, since that role is also under recruitment, interviews will be conducted by the CEO. The role is an office-based position in Uppsala. We are looking forward to receiving your application including salary expectations and your earliest availability date of employment.
