The selected candidate will be involved in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting BMS systems. It is particularly interesting to earnest and ambitious persons seeking to broaden their knowledge of building automation systems and enhance their careers. What you will do: - Actively participate in BMS projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope. - Install, program and troubleshoot BMS-related hardware and software components based on predefined points lists, wiring diagrams and customer requirements - Commissioning and testing BMS software and devices, on-site and remotely - Periodic Preventive maintenance troubleshooting of BMS installations - Design, assemble and test control panels, ensuring they are correctly wired, operational, and compliant with safety standards. - Integrate BMS and REMS with IT infrastructure by configuring network settings and Industrystandard communication protocols like BACnet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP. What do you need to succeed in this role: - Higher Diploma (MQF level 5) in Industrial Automation, Electronics, Controls or equivalent - Three years of work experience in a similar field; - Familiarity with various BMS platforms (e.g., Honeywell, Siemens, Johnson Controls, Distech) and protocols like BACnet, Modbus and DALI. - Good ICT skills, being comfortable working with applications such as MS Office and others - Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for control panels. - Have good written and verbal skills in English. Fluency in Maltese is considered a plus. - Hold a valid local driving licence - Post may require on-call duties and out-of-office hours support Training provided Training and coaching will be provided.
