About the Role

We are seeking a Function Project Manager to join a global spin-off project for our client in Västerås. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the legal separation of IT applications and managing cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholders across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of applications impacted by the legal separation.
• Collaborate with Application Managers to define the separation approach and establish a time plan for each application.
• Drive execution of the separation plan, manage risks, and handle issues and escalations effectively.
• Lead strategic projects at Group, Division, or Business Unit level (local, regional, or multinational).
• Coordinate internal and third-party resources to ensure project milestones are met.
• Ensure all activities are performed according to company procedures, project goals, quality standards, safety requirements, and budget/time constraints.
• Define scope, budget, timelines, resources, and work breakdown structure in alignment with stakeholders.

• Strong experience in project management.
• Good understanding of IT application management.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Skilled in risk management, issue tracking, and project follow-up.
