About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience to lead a strategic subproject.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, prioritize, execute, and follow up on project activities within a defined subproject.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to continuously refine the project scope.
- Document current state (as-is), define future state (to-be), and conduct gap analyses.
- Prepare and present progress reports and decision-making materials to the change management group.
- Assign appropriate resources and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Report regularly to the subprogram manager to ensure alignment and escalation of risks.
- Actively participate in project governance and reporting in Azure DevOps.
- Align and coordinate with other subprojects to maintain program-wide synchronization.
- Support organizational readiness for the system transition by identifying and executing necessary change and training activities.
- Facilitate communication with stakeholders to ensure the project meets actual operational needs.
Project Context
- The project is part of a wider implementation program that includes change management and two subprograms: Dental Care Processes and Support Processes.
- This specific subproject ("Operations
- Care") is part of the subprogram for Economy, BI, Quality and Operations Follow-up.
- The aim is to prepare Folktandvården VGR for a system transition and to optimize its future use.
- The project team will include 2–3 experienced resources in dentistry, finance, BI, and quality.
Project Goals
- Support the implementation program in achieving its goals, with focus on dental care operations.
- Describe and standardize current processes within economy, BI, and quality follow-up.
- Prepare, execute, and monitor the system transition.
- Configure the new dental system in line with organizational needs and expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience in the public sector.
- Experience working in a politically governed organization with at least 500 employees.
- At least 3 years’ experience in finance and operational follow-up within public services.
- Proven coordination and team leadership skills.
- Strong ability to document meetings, track actions, and maintain activity lists.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in projects related to public healthcare or social services.
- Experience with financial and accounting processes.
- Background in BI or data-driven project work.
- Familiarity with data analytics, BI systems, and operational reporting.
- Relevant education in project management and change management.
