Join an exciting opportunity with a leading player in the retail industry, where data-driven marketing is transforming the customer experience. This full-time consulting assignment is based in Stockholm and runs from June 16, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Step into a hands-on, cross-functional role that bridges the technical and business sides of a global Customer Data Platform (CDP) initiative.

As a Senior Software Engineer within the CDP program, you'll act as an Application Expert, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high-performing platform setup. Working across teams in tech, operations and marketing, you’ll take a proactive role in troubleshooting, data modeling, and configuration. Your contribution will be key to driving personalized, data-informed customer experiences on a global scale.

This is a full-time consulting assignment starting asap until 31st of December 2025, with possible extension. 

• Act as first-line support, managing incidents and resolving platform issues related to data flows and audience delivery
• Monitor platform performance and suggest improvements for greater efficiency and scalability
• Maintain platform configurations and access controls, ensuring compliance and governance
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to refine integrations and data models using tools such as dbt, Terraform, and BigQuery
• Produce and maintain documentation and troubleshooting resources for internal use
• Conduct regular quality checks to validate data consistency across customer use cases
• Support platform users across functions with guidance and best practices

• Solid understanding of customer data use cases including marketing activation and customer service
• Knowledge of CDP functionalities such as segmentation, identity resolution, and campaign delivery
• Hands-on experience with platforms like Hightouch, ActionIQ, Segment, or Mparticle
• Familiar with GDPR regulations and data governance practices
• Technical experience with GCP BigQuery, dbt, and Terraform
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities across complex data systems
• Excellent communication skills; confident working with both marketers and engineers across geographies
• Cloud certification: AZ-900
• Fluent in English
