Job description:
- To exercise preliminary troubleshooting of Quality Control equipment, whenever required, in line
with EU GMP and in fulfilment of obligations to service providers in relation to training and warranty
requirements.
- To follow up requests on STORM related to instrument interventions and ensure that they are
completed by service providers in a timely manner.
- To ensure that the STORM system is under control and to execute pressure as required on
Service Providers to fulfil their obligations with regard to the turnaround time stipulated in the
relevant Service Agreements with APL Swift Services (Malta) Ltd.
- To accompany service personnel from third-party companies during interventions on equipment
pertaining to the Quality Control department.
- To trend intervention data related to Quality Control equipment to ensure that all equipment is fit
for use on a routine basis, thus ensuring business continuity.
- To perform calibrations and calibration checks on Quality Control equipment on a routine basis.
- To follow and document (record) precisely all activities as described in the relevant Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs), test methods and protocols as it complies with the principles of
quality management.
- To raise non-compliances and support investigations into deviations in relation to engineering and
equipment systems.
- To revise or write SOPs for equipment or processes to ensure the proper sequence of instructions
and as related to qualifications and preventive maintenance.
Requirements:
- English language skills
- A Degree in a Technical Science or similar related to the position (Level 6 or above)
