About the position
As a Test rig design engineer you will be responsible for design and development of new rigs that are needed to support the R&D and Test & Verification organization. Your work will provide essential data and knowledge for key product decisions and compliance. The rigs must be safe to operate and produce reliable results, adhering to relevant directives. Your role also includes proactive maintenance, rig preparation before test cycles, and continuous improvements to meet evolving needs.
Our rigs are used for a wide range of product and prototype testing, from smaller electronic components to large rigs for mechanical strength test for some our biggest machines. You likely have a background in mechatronics engineering or relevant machine design experience. You enjoy creating and assembling the rigs you design, and you are skilled in various machining operations, both mechanical and electrical.

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking an individual with an engineering education in mechatronics, electronics, or mechanical engineering, with a focus on machine design. You should have a solid understanding of the Machine Directive and compliance requirements. Manual machining skills, including lathe, milling, and welding, are desirable. Strong social skills and clear communication are essential. Sustainability is important to us, so we value a mindset where such improvements are always in focus.
To succeed in this role, you must like to take initiative, plan and drive your work forward. Great technical curiosity is important as well as practical abilities.
