About this opportunity:
Trade Compliance Global Operations has the overall accountability for all trade activities across the Ericsson Group. Our mission is to secure Ericsson Groups compliance with all applicable trade compliance laws and regulations. . In addition to performing the screening and due diligence activities, you will develop processes, tools and competence for the teams’ responsibilities. You will also be expected to understand and apply analytics and statistics in order to improve ways of working, follow-up and performance of the responsibilities of the organization. As always, it’s important to network actively with related teams. You will be expected to act as a spokesperson on occasion and present your findings to various stakeholders. Project participation and project management will be part of your job.
What you will do:
• Perform screening, due diligence investigations and red flag assessments from Sanctions and Money Laundry perspectives as requested.
• Own and maintain Sanctioned Party List (SPL)
• Maintaining the Legal Entity classification
• Ensure that blocks exist on business partners with whom Ericsson is legally refrained from being involved with.
• Provide subject matter expert advice and spread knowledge about export control, trade sanctions and anti-money laundering
• Drive systemization, digitalization and automation of Trade Compliance
• Provide TC Analytics support (e.g., Hana, Tableau, TCAD) to Trade Compliance Global Operations
• Participating in, and leading, assigned TCGO strategic projects.
The skills you bring:
• Relevant university degree
• Background in the area of Contract Management (terms and conditions), Product Development, IT and process management, Supply chain management or Sourcing agreements (terms and conditions)
• Basic understanding of Trade Compliance
• Project management skills and experience
• Sanctions & Embargo compliance
• Origin Determination
• Trade Compliance License & Permit Management
• End Use & End User Validation
• Laws & Regulations Knowledge
Valuable Experience:
Ericsson’s global system landscape for Global Trade Control, Master Data, Software Delivery, PLM, ERP, service delivery, sourcing etc.
