Assignment Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Trainer to educate employees about their rights and responsibilities as part of an ongoing initiative to strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture.
Approximately 520 employees will participate during Fall 2025.
Background
- The organization is conducting a major employee engagement initiative covering all ~520 employees.
- A key part of this is the training program "Being an Employee," rooted in labor law, organizational policies, and employee responsibilities.
- The training aims to increase awareness and understanding of employment rights, expectations, and internal procedures to promote a healthier, more collaborative, and responsible work culture.
Assignment Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person training for approx.
520 employees across 5–6 sessions during Fall 2025 (likely October–November).
- Each training session is a half-day event (approx.
2 hours per group).
- Deliver training content that:
- Helps participants reflect on and improve their employee behavior.
- Enhances understanding of key organizational principles.
- Encourages open, task-focused, and empathetic communication.
- Contributes to better collaboration, fewer misunderstandings, and improved handling of difficult issues.
Expected Deliverables
- Customized training concept, structure, and methodology.
- Clear learning outcomes tied to the organization’s goals for employee development.
- Engaging and pedagogical delivery style that promotes learning through insight rather than instruction.
- Clear, professional communication and reporting.
Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- Extensive experience and knowledge in employment law and employee training.
- Experience training in politically governed organizations.
- Proven ability to facilitate large group processes.
- Strong pedagogical skills – engaging, clear, and non-dogmatic delivery.
- Deep experience in organizational development.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Experience in municipal technical administration.
- Knowledge of Developmental Leadership and Employee Engagement models from the Swedish Defence University.
- Previous experience with employee development programs.
