Assignment: Service Delivery Specialist – Driving Operational Excellence and Compliance (100% Remote)

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Service Delivery Specialist to support the evolution of a governance and operational readiness framework aimed at ensuring high-quality production environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal product teams, technical stakeholders, and leadership to strengthen the delivery and stability of services, with a strong focus on compliance, coordination, and long-term operational efficiency.

Location: Fully remote

Working hours: Must be able to operate within Central European Time (CET)

Role Overview

You will take a central role in enabling an organization-wide shift in how operational excellence and service readiness are achieved. This includes ensuring that standards for deployment, monitoring, and continuity are met and maintained across teams and systems. The framework you’ll support is designed to drive reliability, security, and scalability—and your job is to embed it as an integral part of everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a bridge between product teams, technical stakeholders, and business leaders to align expectations and translate requirements.
• Facilitate cross-functional forums to prioritize and accelerate initiatives tied to operational governance.
• Work closely with global teams and functional leaders to ensure tools and systems supporting day-to-day operations are stable and accessible.
• Align workflows and support processes across teams to create consistent, scalable ways of working.
• Provide guidance to product teams on best practices for operational readiness and process adherence.
• Support the onboarding of new applications into the operational framework, ensuring necessary standards and checkpoints are met.
• Promote awareness and embed the governance model into routines and forums across the organization.
• Collaborate with leadership to ensure alignment with vision, objectives, and defined KPIs.
• Conduct follow-ups and ensure governance actions are tracked and implemented consistently.

Core Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a strong foundation in service delivery, governance frameworks, and operational processes—ideally in large or complex environments.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Business Impact Analysis (BIA): Experience performing impact assessments and translating results into actionable insights.
• Compliance & Reporting: Skilled in producing clear compliance dashboards and reports for various stakeholder levels.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work with multiple teams to address compliance gaps and drive accountability.
• Risk & Issue Management: Experience escalating blockers, tracking resolutions, and maintaining risk registers.
• Governance Alignment: Consistent follow-up on compliance actions and support of governance structures.
• Service Management Expertise: Solid hands-on experience with the following:
• Incident Management
• Problem Management
• Change Management
• Knowledge Management
• Business Continuity Planning
• Cybersecurity Awareness: Understanding of cybersecurity principles as they relate to operational service delivery.
• Monitoring Tools & Tech Trends: Familiarity with modern monitoring tools and awareness of emerging technology.
• Process Orientation: Strong understanding of ITIL principles and how to implement them in real-world operations.

Nice to Have

• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent experience
• QA/testing experience and familiarity with test planning
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
