DHL Supply Chain Denmark A/S, Allerød consist of two sites which are situated next to each other at Bøgeholm Allé 3 and 5 respectively. Both sites are operating as a 100% contract warehouse within Life Science and handle packaging material for a large Danish pharmaceutical manufacturer. We have a strong safety culture “Safety First” and a quality mindset, which should also be in your DNA.

We are in total looking for three new Team leaders for the Warehouse team of the two sites (day and evening shift). As part of the daily local Operations management team you will have a direct influence on safety, quality and operational performance.

As a leader in DHL you will lead with head, heart and guts and always balance respect and results.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the performance of your Team (Inbound and Outbound warehouse operations)
  • Conduct daily resource planning for the team
  • Conduct the resource planning for the team including weekend shift if required
  • Lead and coordinate the work for the team
  • Participate in the warehouse work
  • Introduce and train new team members and ensure that team members are up to date with new and existing procedures and work instructions
  • Management of the teams time reporting
  • Ensure daily meetings and briefings of the team via Performance Dialogue or similar
  • Set a good example for work and behavior – be a role model
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Reporting of safety and quality issues


Skills and qualifications

  • Preferable experience working in a GMP/GDP environment from the life science industry, or alternatively experience of another line of business with high demands in terms of quality and documentation.
  • Some years of experience from a similar role preferably from a warehouse or manufacturing area.
  • Excellent planning skills and experienced and familiar with the use of IT (Microsoft Offices and WMS, preferably SAP or Blue Yonder).
  • Good inter-personal skills. Able to build strong relationship internally and with all key stakeholders.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and result oriented.
  • Positive attitude with a sense of humor.
  • Fluent in English and at least one Nordic language both spoken and in writing.


Working hours

All jobs are full time positions equal to 37 hours per week. We operate between 06: 00 AM and 08: 00 PM on weekdays and 08: 00 AM and 12: 00 (midday) in the week-ends. We expect that your normal working hours on site are either between 08: 00 AM and 04: 00 PM or between 10: 00 AM and 06: 00 PM. However, some mutual flexibility is required and expected. Occasional weekend work on an ad hoc basis might be required to ensure operations during weekends.
