About Engineering at Tink

Connectivity teams create software agents integrating data from 3400+ financial institutions. They ultimately focus on continual service improvements and enable real-time transactions and payment processing all around Europe and provide seamless authentication flows. Tink, as one of the first companies in Europe to initiate payments through open banking, so day-to-day work often means solving problems for which there’s no blueprint. While Aggregation stores, refreshes and displays aggregated data from the thousands of financial institutions we connect to. With this data, we build products and APIs to solve problems like account aggregation, account verification, balance checks, and we support other Tink products.

Working with open banking often means solving complex problems for which there’s no blueprint! You will be working in an international environment where your responsibilities will include:

• Work with Tink’s technologies which is mainly Java, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Datadog, REST and much more.
• Develop reliable, scalable, high performance and highly distributed open banking products for different markets using your technical expertise.
• Innovate around new features and measure how these features perform, being instrumental in bringing the product vision to life.
• Collaborate and build high-quality products by following best engineering practices.

What we’re looking for:

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join the Engineering organization, working from our office in central Stockholm. We see that you enjoy working with others and that you have a passion for what you do. You want to better the product you are working on as well as your knowledge and skills.

We would like you to have

• Proven experience working with Java technologies
• Experience with a fast-paced environment that is product centric
• Experience from working with DevOps methodologies and tools
• Experience working with agile methodologies and understand the value of tracking engineering key metrics

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Java technologies.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of databases (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud services (AWS, GCP).
• Proven experience in developing scalable and high-performance applications
