The customer is developing a software solution for autonomous vehicles. The work is done on-site in Södertälje within a small agile team using daily syncs and bi-weekly planning. The solution includes simulation testing and real-time vehicle validation with cloud integration.

To our customer, we are looking for a senior full-stack developer with a strong focus on frontend, particularly React and TypeScript. The role requires working onsite in Södertälje as part of an agile, collaborative team developing onboard software for autonomous vehicles. The code is deployed in simulation and then validated in real vehicles. The customer uses tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenTelemetry. You will contribute to frontend-heavy full-stack development using React, TypeScript, and Scala. Tasks include pair/mob programming, simulation deployment, and vehicle validation. The work involves new development with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and observability.

Senior frontend skills in React and TypeScript, experience or willingness to learn Scala, and ability to work full-stack in an agile, collaborative team.

• A couple of years experience as a software engineer with strong front-end skills in React and TypeScript.
• Experience in Scala, or a similar language with a strong willingness to learn Scala quickly.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Very good knowledge of English (Swedish is beneficial but not required).
• Ability and willingness to work onsite in Södertälje with methods like pair programming, mob sessions, refinement, and deployment to simulation.
• Ability to work in a full-stack environment and validate code in-vehicle.
• Familiarity with agile work processes: daily syncs, weekly goal alignment, sprint reviews, and bi-weekly planning.

Experience with streaming architectures, actor systems, DevOps infrastructure, automated testing, observability, and software lifecycle security.

• Experience with or interest in Pekko or Akka actor systems.
• Experience with or interest in streaming data architectures.
• Familiarity with gRPC (web and server-side).
• Experience with tools and infrastructure like: GitLab CI/CD, Gradle (Kotlin DSL), Docker, Kubernetes (platform-managed), Linux.
• Experience with automated testing tools: ScalaTest, Vitest, Cypress.
• Experience in structured scenario-based simulation testing.
• Familiarity with observability tools: OpenTelemetry (tracing, metrics, logging), Otel to Grafana.
• Understanding of privacy and security practices in the software development lifecycle.
