You will be part of the Applied Digitalization group, which is part of the Department of Industrial Systems. We are a dedicated team of about 22 people engaged in research, testing, and coordination in applied digitalization.
Your role We seek a highly motivated PhD candidate to join an exciting research collaboration at the Industrial Systems Department at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, as part of the GEMINI project, funded by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF) through the Research Institute PhD Grant. The selected candidate will be employed and primarily based at RISE, while being formally enrolled as a PhD student at the Department of Computer and Electrical Engineering (DET), Mid Sweden University, Sundsvall, Sweden.
The PhD student will conduct the research within an active, interdisciplinary environment and can collaborate with leading international universities and Swedish companies. The PhD research under GEMINI aims to develop innovative mobile intelligence solutions for next-generation 6G networks, focusing on building adaptive, trustworthy, and explainable AI-driven systems for real-time mobile communications.
Who Are You? We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with:
A Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
