Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Peterborough, United Kingdom

Job Type: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical concepts based on customer and market data
• Take part in Voice of Customer (VOC) activities to ensure design accuracy
• Lead electrical design using CAD tools, creating detailed schematics and models
• Conduct and support FMEA, validation, and product testing
• Ensure products are designed for manufacture (DFM) and system integration
• Prepare full technical documentation, including specs, BOMs, and test reports
• Keep up with new technologies and propose design improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experience in electrical engineering, especially in new product development
• Skilled in electrical CAD software
• Experience working with transformers
• Familiarity with FMEA, testing, and validation methods
• Knowledge of system integration and design for manufacturing (DFM)
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Hands-on experience with high, medium, and low voltage circuit designRanging from 4000V down to 24V DC
