We’re looking for a skilled UX Designer to join an exciting digital transformation journey within the global retail industry.

This full-time consulting assignment, based in Malmö, spans from asap until 31st of August 2025, with possible extensions.

You will play a central role in shaping the user experience of a next-generation sales tool tailored for in-store sales teams. As part of the product team, you will collaborate closely with product leaders, developers, and fellow designers to deliver an intuitive, accessible, and efficient interface. The product is a core component of a broader digital ecosystem supporting retail operations globally.

• Engage in the full design lifecycle, from early discovery to final delivery
• Build prototypes for desktop, tablet, and mobile platforms to support user research
• Conduct independent user research and usability testing with end-users
• Analyze user needs and business goals to drive design decisions
• Map user journeys and craft effective user flows
• Deliver finalized designs and lead design reviews with stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Champion the user perspective, advocating for intuitive, accessible experiences
• Uphold design consistency through adherence to accessibility and system standards

You’re an experienced UX Designer with a strong foundation in user research and interface design for digital tools. Your structured and action-oriented mindset helps you navigate complex environments with ease. You thrive in collaborative settings and are passionate about delivering accessible, world-class user experiences—particularly in retail or customer-facing contexts.

• Proven experience in researching and testing interactive product experiences
• Expertise in working with design systems and Figma
• Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative user research methodologies
• Strong grasp of digital design patterns, accessibility standards (including WCAG), and micro-interaction design
• Proficiency in facilitating workshops and articulating design insights
• High data literacy and structured design approach
• Familiarity with product trio methodology and empowered product teams (bonus)
• Experience designing for global products and multi-lingual interfaces (bonus)
• Previous exposure to sales or retail environments (bonus)
• Fluent in English

For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta.
