Role: Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PLC programming and electrical design on production machinery and equipment
• Develop both small-scale and large-scale automation solutions
• Participate in creating routines and instructions for the automation development group
• Contribute to automation innovation forums and internal development meetings
• Act as a subject matter expert in automation and electrical design, with strong knowledge of machine directives and industry standards
• Support the production department with technical guidance and improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in automation engineering, machine programming, and industrial projects
• Proficiency in EPLAN, ABB, Siemens, and other automation platforms
• Strong collaboration skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
• Able to take responsibility and deliver high-quality results independently
• Comfortable working onsite in Karlskrona
• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
