We are looking for a new colleague to join an exciting project with our client in Malmö, Sweden.

You will be a part of the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team within the Data Governance & Activation (DG&A) department. Their mission is to ensure that master data is fit for purpose, created first time right, and maintained in a single source of the truth, supported by an operating model with clearly defined roles & responsibilities in order to enable and improve seamless collaboration across Business and Digital, operational excellence and data-driven decision making.

The scope of your job will be to assist our client in the implementation of the Vendor Master Data blueprint.

QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES

• Have an in-depth understanding of the data management deliverables, because most of these deliverables need to be designed and implemented from scratch as part of the project activities
• Relevant data management & data governance experience
• Able to design data management deliverables from scratch
• Stakeholder and change management experience
• 4-7 years of Project management experience
• Stakeholder and change management experience (e.g., maintaining senior management sponsorship, preparing and facilitating Steering Committee meetings)
• Able to deal with stakeholders who are new to data management and its value
• 4-7 years of experience being able to talk to stakeholders along for the data management journey
• 7+ years of experience with relevant data management & data governance experience (e.g., data ownership, data stewardship, RACI development, process
• improvement, data quality dashboard, data quality management), preferably at a global retail company in a similar role
• Able to design data management deliverables from scratch
• Able to develop the Vendor Master Data roadmap further based on the Vendor Master Data blueprint
• Able to incorporate and support a junior specialist with the data management deliverables
• Professional level of English - both oral and written
• Valid EU work permit making you able to start working in Sweden right away

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Leading the core project team
• Preparing and facilitating the Steering Committee meetings
• Planning and implementing the data management activities from the Vendor Master Data blueprint together with the core team and
• relevant stakeholders
• Stakeholder management
• Operationalize data ownership role on group/global level
• Pilot data ownership role on country/local level
• Operationalize data stewardship role on a group/global level
• Pilot SAP DQM functionality on SAP MDG with the support of a third-party implementation partner
• Design and implement data quality dashboard and data quality management processes (e.g., monitoring, root-cause analysis, issue
• resolution)
• Establish clear roles & responsibilities within the creation and maintenance processes
• Improve creation and maintenance processes together with process development
• Improve master data design and configuration based on findings from prioritized use cases
