The opportunity

We are looking for a Test Engineer to our High Voltage testing lab at Power Transformers in Ludvika. In this role, you will belong to a group of Test Engineers and a team with amazing collaboration and diverse backgrounds who work together to run delivery projects.

To be successful you are an enthusiastic person with great communication skills as you will be spokesperson to our customers as well as internal and external stakeholders. You will have the possibility to work both on a global and local arena in different projects and networks. You will be involved in driving a safe and sustainable quality culture in the department and develop our business in both short- and long-term perspective.

How you'll make an impact

  • Your main mission is to lead the testing operations of Transformers/Reactors
  • Communicate and collaborate with the customers in a way that ensures that trust can be built.
  • Making sure that the storage of primary test results, control documentation from production and Test reports are done according to the guidelines of document management.
  • Be part of our digitalization journey to build a new test environment
  • Deliver on time in line with the master schedule plan and goals.

Your background

  • You hold or will finalize a degree in the electrical field, engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • You are driven and persistent with the ability to create engagement in the team.
  • Have a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach
  • You are customer oriented and proud to deliver with quality
  • You are proactive and have a risk awareness attitude for a High Voltage environment
  • As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluent in English is required. Swedish is preferable for collaboration with local stakeholders.

Power Transformers in Ludvika manufacture power transformers and reactors up to the highest occurring powers and voltages. The Power Transformer unit in Ludvika has the core competence within the ultra-high voltage levels that are required to transfer a large amount of energy over long distances. Most of the new technology for power transformers is developed in Ludvika.
