Assignment Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant for a full-time assignment based in Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly and quarterly closings
• Report to regulatory authorities, including the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen)
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Conduct financial reporting using Cognos Controller
• Manage reinsurance, VAT, and employer declarations
• Collaborate closely with internal finance colleagues
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial routines and processes

Requirements:

• Strong experience in month-end and quarter-end closings
• Proficient in account reconciliation and year-end reporting
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and Excel
• Experience with Cognos Controller is highly valued
• Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
