Job Description
As a Communication Specialist, you are responsible for creating, planning and executing on global internal and external tech communications activities for Business Tech.
You contribute to the development of our digitalization communications strategy and execute on the communications plan, based on the business needs.
Your key responsibilities are:
- Developing internal and external communication strategy and planning
- Creating communications content and stories around our tech and data capabilities suitable to different internal and external audiences and channels e.g., newsletters, press releases, SharePoint and event
- Planning, developing, coordinating and executing communications activities and projects according to the Digitalization communications strategy in close collaboration with the project team and colleagues in Business Tech, the H&M Group and across the company
- Build a relationship to key stakeholders in the functions and be first point of contact for communication topics
- Training leaders on tools and process part our new Communicative Leadership program
- Preparing impact analyses to evaluate the success of communications activities
- Supporting and creating a culture that encourages colleagues globally, to share insights, learnings and best practices that contribute to our business results
- Support all communications initiatives internally and externally to create awareness and position our tech and data capabilities globally and supporting employer branding activities, focusing on attracting talent
- Assure ongoing and long-term collaboration and alignment with HR, Strategy and Communications in Group, Brands and Functions
Qualifications
- Excellent communicator with relevant experience in the tech industry
- Experience from delivering change communications in a matrix organization on a global scale
- Ability to combine long-term critical and strategic thinking while leading, influencing and inspiring others
- Strong writer, strategic thinker, and inventive problem-solver with proven experience in advising senior leadership
- Excellent English in both speaking and writing
- Experience in working with Microsoft Office tools such as SharePoint, Teams Live, Yammer, etc.
- Experience in both reactive and proactive as well as crisis communications
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries
- Collaborating with the communications community both on a group level and across the company
- Understanding of society changes and how they affect the company
- Last but not least
- an enthusiastic representative of the H&M Group family of brands
