Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Transmission CAE Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Plan, lead, and perform computer-aided simulations of transmission components and systems, focusing on strength, durability, and vibration.
- Conduct analysis for both conventional and battery electric vehicle (BEV) applications.
- Support project leaders and design engineers throughout all project phases with technical solutions and recommendations.
- Collaborate in early-stage concept design and contribute to the development of new technologies at Driveline.
- Present simulation results effectively in meetings and compile detailed technical reports.
- Work both independently and within cross-functional teams to ensure simulation objectives are met.
- Utilize Abaqus and ANSA as primary tools for simulation, with the potential use of additional fatigue analysis software.
What you bring:
- Master of Science or higher in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics or a closely related field.
- Proven experience as a simulation engineer within the automotive industry, preferably within Powertrain departments.
- Proficiency in using Abaqus and the pre/post-processor tools ANSA/META for simulation tasks.
- Experience with fatigue analysis tools such as nCode DesignLife or similar software is considered a strong advantage.
- Programming skills in Python or MATLAB for automation and data processing within simulation workflows.
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail in engineering analysis.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to present complex technical data clearly and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
