We are seeking a Skilled Software Engineer to join our client’s team focused on developing Active Safety Platforms, with an emphasis on lateral feature development for Collision Avoidance systems such as Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) and Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB).
You will work as part of a cross-functional, cross-site Agile Scrum team, contributing to the full software development lifecycle: from requirements analysis to coding, integration, testing, and continuous improvement.
This is a hands-on engineering role in a complex, safety-critical embedded environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain embedded software for active safety features using C++ and Python.
- Work in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with team members through Scrum ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous integration workflows.
- Contribute to software and system integration, including interface updates, automated testing, and debugging.
- Take ownership of various stages of development, from requirement specification to testing and verification.
- Develop and maintain automated software tests as part of a CI/CD toolchain.
- Support the implementation of safety standards such as ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
Your Profile
- 5+ years of experience in software development for embedded safety-critical systems, preferably in the automotive domain.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of embedded systems.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including experience working in Scrum teams.
- Experience with tools such as GIT/Gerrit, codeBeamer, or similar requirement and configuration management platforms.
- Previous involvement in feature development for collision avoidance systems (e.g.
LKA, AEB) is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE is highly valued.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proactive, results-driven, and capable of thriving in dynamic or evolving project contexts.
