On behalf of Care of Codic, we are looking for an Embedded C++ developer to join an exciting assignment in Gothenburg. You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team developing remote connectivity features that shape how users interact with their vehicles.

About the role

In this role, you’ll work in a cross-functional agile team with talented and skilled engineers. Your main focus will be backend development for embedded systems, but you’ll also have the chance to grow into areas such as Android/iOS integration, test automation, and overall system design.

What you will do in this role

· Design, develop, and maintain backend features for embedded remote functions

· Collaborate with your team to manage and deliver on backlog items

· Write robust, thread-safe, and testable C++ code

· Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement

· Stay current with emerging technologies and share innovative ideas

Must-Have qualifications

· At least 5 years of experience from working with modern C++ (C++14 or later) and in writing multithreaded and testable code

· Degree in computer science or equivalent hands-on experience

· Familiarity with development tools like Git, Jira, Jenkins

· Proficiency in English (both written and spoken)

· Experience with Python development

Bonus qualifications

· Android app development in Kotlin or iOS in Swift

· Experience with BLE integrations or smartphone accessory development

· Automotive technology: CAN, FlexRay, SOME/IP

· Test automation or Robot Framework experience

· Swedish language skills

· Experience as a consultant

· Driver’s license (B)
