About the position

As Group Business Controller with MacGregor, you’ll have a global scope within all business lines and divisions. You oversee the budget process including coordinating and providing guidelines, planning and consolidating. This includes a lot of different stake holders and deadlines to manage and requires good skills in collaboration, planning and prioritization.

As the Group Business Controller you are an expert in making sense of, analyzing and presenting large and complex data. You’ll be challenging the business in new ways of forecasting, modelling and have a great impact in driving the business forward. You will also be responsible for the monthly management reporting working closely with the VP of finance. Key responsibilities includes:

• Monthly management reporting
• Oversee the financial planning, budget & forecasting
• Development of current processes and reporting methods
• Drive Actions to improve forecasting
• Analysis and financial modelling

About you

We are looking for an ambitious and driven person who wants to grow with the company. As the Group Business Controller you will work close to the management team and be able to impact the company as it continues to pioneer within its new context as a stand alone company.

You have experience from budgeting and reporting and are used to managing large data sets, preferably from an engineering / industrial company background. In addition, you are a great communicator and project leader, used to navigating in an international organization with lots of entities. Currently MacGregor is working in SAP, HFM, Qlik Sense and Google BigQuery. As the Group Business Controller you thrive in leveraging technology to your advantage in analytics, visualization and reporting.

You are a person who likes to bring new ideas to the table and are not afraid to challenge and drive improvements. As the Group Business Controller you will work and co-ordinate activities on an international group level and previous experience from leading projects in that context is required.

We are looking for someone with:

• About 5-8 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling, Management Consulting or similar roles
• A degree in finance, business, accounting or a related field
• Professional proficiency in English. Professional proficiency in Swedish is meritorious.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Data-saviness and strong analytical skills

Additional information

The position is a full time permanent employment starting as soon as possible. The office is located in Göteborg.
