Do you thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cutting-edge technology? We’re looking for a Data Engineer to join our dynamic HiL/Data team at Volvo GTT. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures that support our verification processes. You will work closely with the System Verification Engineers, contributing to the development of our verification environment and ensuring that our data solutions meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and architectures to support the HiL verification environment. * Collaborate with System Verification Engineers to understand data requirements and ensure seamless integration of data solutions. * Analyze and process large datasets to extract meaningful insights that drive decision-making in the verification process. * Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure the integrity and reliability of data used in testing and verification. * Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes, tools, and methodologies within the team. * Occasionally travel for business-related purposes. Who are you? * Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role, preferably in the automotive domain. * Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, or similar. * Experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks (e.g., Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, or similar). * Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and data storage solutions. * Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. * Strong analytical skills and the ability to work with large datasets. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
