Overview

As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our global hybrid network infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

This role involves managing both cloud-native environments and existing on-premise systems, as well as integrating with our global partners. You will collaborate with a dynamic team, engaging in a diverse range of activities from incident management and change implementation to the development and deployment of innovative network services.

By leveraging your expertise in traditional networking alongside modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices, you will be at the forefront of delivering robust transport connectivity solutions within a fast-paced, global setting that champions learning and innovation.

Your Profile

* Proven experience as a developer with strong proficiency in Python and AWS CloudFormation.

* Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and other modern IaC frameworks (e.g., Terraform) is a significant plus.

* Deep understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts, protocols, and routing principles.

* Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services, including:

* VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)

* Transit Gateway

* PrivateLink

* Direct Connect

* Route 53

* NACLs (Network Access Control Lists)

* Security Groups

* Familiarity with hybrid cloud networking architectures and secure cloud connectivity patterns.

* Experienced in troubleshooting complex, distributed systems and multi-cloud or hybrid environments.

* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

* Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English.

* Comfortable working effectively within a global, cross-functional team.

* Passionate about automation, cloud-native architectures, and continuously improving infrastructure through code.
