We have the accountability to provide fast-paced software development from business support systems up to the channel layer. Consumer IT are running several initiatives to improve the portfolio and legacy IT stack to a modern IT stack to increase stability, reliability, and overall performance of the system. What you will do As a Test Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive end-to-end test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will perform manual testing, create test data, identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects and inconsistencies. Your role involves collaborating closely with developers, Product Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing. You will conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionalities are not affected by new changes, ensuring system stability and consistency. This includes designing and maintaining regression test suites and executing test cycles efficiently. You will analyze regression test results, report any issues found, and track the issue to closure. Additionally you will participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback from a testing perspective. You ensure that testing activities are completed in a timely manner and provide detailed test reports and metrics to stakeholders. Additionally, you will continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness. Who you are You either have experience as a Test Specialist, a similar role within IT, or insights from a customer perspective (e.g., Customer Service or Stores) along with a technical interest. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You are a good communicator, and teamwork comes naturally to you. An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies is a must. Additionally, experience with Cross-Browser & Device Testing is essential for ensuring a seamless user experience across different platforms. Experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud-based testing tools is an added advantage. Preferred candidates have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, hold certifications in software testing such as ISTQB, and have familiarity with Kibana for log analysis and monitoring Our promise to you We are better together.
