We are seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer for our client’s Software & Electronics Platform team.
This team is responsible for shaping the electrical architecture of tomorrow’s vehicles—including system safety and cybersecurity across both in-vehicle systems and connected offboard/cloud environments.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full development cycle, ensuring that advanced automotive systems meet the highest cybersecurity standards.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and external suppliers, to safeguard the entire ecosystem of connected vehicle technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Threat Analysis and Risk Assessments (TARA) to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Define, review, and maintain cybersecurity concepts, requirements, and specifications
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure cybersecurity standards are met
- Support verification, validation, and testing of cybersecurity measures across platforms
- Participate in joint cybersecurity reviews with external partners
- Promote cybersecurity awareness and share knowledge across the organization
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, preferably within the automotive industry
- Experience with TARA and designing cybersecurity concepts
- Understanding of automotive electrical systems, software architecture, or embedded systems
- Familiarity with software development, testing tools, or methodologies
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations in automotive or IT cybersecurity (e.g., ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
