Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer – Cloud & DevOps Focus to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services in a cloud-native environment using TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and external systems
• Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and DynamoDB, optimizing data structures and performance
• Participate in code reviews, implement unit tests, and contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements
• Enhance system architecture and support automation initiatives
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional DevOps teams, architects, and stakeholders
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends within backend and cloud development

What you bring:

• 5–10+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js)
• Experience with Java is considered a plus
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Proven experience with AWS and modern cloud technologies including Lambda, Docker, and serverless frameworks
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases and performance tuning
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and DevOps practices
• Independent, quality-focused, and confident in taking technical ownership
• Fluency in both Swedish and English
