Do you love marketing and events? Would you like to join a small marketing team in a highly technical company focused on connecting customers at the core of the Internet?

We are looking for an Event and Marketing Assistant to support and to be an important part of our Event & Engagement team, where we together plan, produce and market Netnod's external activities.

We work creatively and goal-oriented across multiple platforms and formats – from social media to physical and digital events – with the aim of strengthening our brand, creating engagement and delivering valuable experiences to our target groups.

We believe that you are currently working within the Internet or technology industry and are familiar with the Internet and other telco services. If so, this is the perfect opportunity to join a small team of highly skilled marketers who work closely with both product development and sales.

We are looking for someone who is self-reliant and structured with a good ability to identify, analyse and solve problems. You also have good teamwork skills and like to work in a dynamic and agile work environment with a strong sense of customer service.

The role is suitable for those who are at the beginning of their career in communications, marketing or events, and who want to develop in a broad and varied role in a technology-oriented environment.

You will report to our Marketing Manager – Head of Events, and will receive support and space to grow in the role.



Key responsibilities

  • Support the Marketing Manager, Head of Events in the operational work and implementation of marketing activities and events.
  • Publish, contribute and update content in Netnod's social channels, digital mailings and website.
  • Ensure that all published content follows Netnod's brand guidelines.
  • Be helpful in contact with partners, customers, suppliers and sponsors
  • Represent Netnod at events and tradeshows both internationally and in Sweden

Qualifications

  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar
  • Minimum 2 years of experience from a similar role
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to back up assumptions
  • Experience from working in a technical organisation ideally in the Internet or technology industry
  • Experience in organising events
  • You have a drive for results and are experienced in leading projects with external agencies
  • Ability to travel internationally
  • Excellent language skills in both English and Swedish


Location

This role is located at our office in Solna, Stockholm. The role reports directly to the Marketing Manager, Head of Event.
