Speed Capture Solution integrates hardware components required for the collection of biometric data such as fingerprint readers, document/passport scanners, or cameras, but also many software components such as facial recognition algorithms, quality assessment, or media processing tools. Understanding the customer needs and adapting the solution is key to customer success.

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to join our team on the expansion journey ahead! The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and thrives working across the whole technical journey from pre-sales to technical support. In this role, you will report to our CTO and work closely with engineering, sales, and service team.

Areas of responsibility:

• Requirements analysis, requirements gathering and specifications.
• Proposing solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrating technical expertise and contributing to the development by establishing and promoting best practices.
• Working closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication between hardware, software, middleware, etc.
• Acting as a bridge that drives customer feedback into the engineering cycle.
• Troubleshooting and understanding of complex technical problems.
• Documenting known issues, FAQs, user guides/manuals, integration/developer guides, etc.
• Help building a stronger customer support organization.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline.
• 5+ years experience in a customer facing role such as technical support, technical pre-sales, or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience working with hardware/software products running on Windows platform.
• Strong analytical skills and strong troubleshooting experience on Windows platform.
• Excellent teamwork and written/oral English communications skills.
• Ability to synthesize complex problems to non-technical audience.
