Test Engineer - Consulting assignment, 2-3 months with possibilities to be extended

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to join our dynamic Product and Solutions Development, based in Central Stockholm. This role will be working with our Product and Solutions Development team, other internal engineering teams and partners to conduct thorough tests on our hardware, firmware and software systems to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance. The engineer will use his/her technical background to design and implement tests, debug systems, and defining corrective actions and more. As a Test Engineer, you will be part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that our solutions are of the highest quality possible. The engineer will be part of a global solutions team, with colleagues and internal and external customers all over the world.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications
• Collaborate with the development team to develop effective strategies and test plans
• Develop test frameworks and execute test cases (manual or automated, with an initial focus on manual test) and analyze results
• Evaluate product according to specifications
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Help troubleshoot issues
• Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the product development lifecycle

Qualifications:

• At least 5 Years experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
• Good knowledge in C#, NUnit and Azure DevOps. Not required, but useful, is knowledge in C/C++ for writing firmware tests
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Working knowledge of test management software
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
