Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Scala Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Contribute to the development of advanced, simulation-driven software for a world-leading client in the transport industry
• Engage in daily pair or mob programming sessions and collaborative refinement of new features
• Develop, deploy, and validate code on both simulations and real vehicles
• Participate in daily stand-ups, weekly goal-setting, and bi-weekly retrospectives to ensure continuous team alignment and improvement
• Work across the stack, with opportunities to contribute to both backend and frontend components

What you bring:

• Extensive experience in Scala or another functional programming language with readiness to work in Scala
• Familiarity with streaming data architectures and tools such as Pekko or Akka
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile team while being comfortable working independently
• Exposure to or interest in full-stack development, particularly React and web gRPC
• Strong problem-solving skills and a mindset rooted in curiosity, learning, and innovation
• Experience with or interest in working with technologies such as GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux environments
• Solid understanding of automated testing, observability, and secure development practices
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Proficiency in English
