Are you excited about creating the next generation of sustainable food products? cReal Food is on a mission to revolutionize food through its oat-based ingredients and is looking to recruit an Application Manager to lead the way in turning innovation into practical solutions. In this high-impact, hands-on role, you’ll work closely with the commercial team to develop technical solutions that meet real customer needs. ABOUT THE ROLE
As Application Manager at cReal, you will lead the development and optimization of food applications, working hands-on with our oat-based ingredients. You will manage the application lab, conduct trials, and establish proof of concept for key product categories that demonstrate the unique value and functionality cReal’s ingredients can offer customers. In addition, you’ll set up and maintain analytical methods to evaluate ingredient functionality and collaborate closely with the sales team to provide technical support and create customer-facing samples. You thrive in a dynamic and 100% customer centric environment, and get energy by being a key player in the selling process as a technical expert.
You will be part of cReal’s management team, report to the CEO, and lead the application team.

ABOUT YOU
As Application Manager, you will need extensive experience in food applications. A background in dairy is ideal, but experience in plant-based, savoury, meat, or bakery categories is also relevant. You combine a scientific mindset with creativity and curiosity and know how to turn functional ingredients into real, compelling food concepts — whether you're in the kitchen developing recipes, running structured trials, or supporting the sales team in customer meetings.
We would like you to have at least a Master’s degree in Food Science, and a background as a chef is considered a merit. Experience in a scale-up or fast-growing environment is a plus, especially if you’ve helped shape ways of working from the ground up.
