This is a full-time consulting assignment through us at The Pace. The planned start date is no later than the end of June/beginning of July 2025, and the assignment is expected to last between 9-12 months. As Head of Workplace, you are expected to work at the office for the majority of your time.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will take the lead in shaping and driving the workplace experience and operations across all of Avalanche’s locations. You will support the development and execution of workplace roadmaps and objectives, collaborating closely with CFO and Operations leadership team to ensure alignment with overall strategy.
You’ll lead and support our Workplace team located in Stockholm (3), Malmö (1), and Liverpool (1). Through coaching, feedback, and daily guidance, you’ll help the team deliver consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all offices — creating environments where creativity, collaboration, and productivity thrive.
The role is based in Stockholm, but regular travel to our Malmö and Liverpool offices will be required to maintain close collaboration with the local teams and to oversee projects and initiatives on-site.

Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering a world-class workplace experience by collaborating with the Workplace team to design and execute internal events and activities that strengthen company culture and promote inclusion. You will also be responsible for managing the operational budget, ensuring effective investment plans, monitoring and approving daily expenses for Workplace, and promptly addressing any urgent facilities issues as they arise.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a leader with a strong background in facilities management, business administration, or a related field, with at least 4 years of experience in facility operations management, including leadership or supervisory responsibilities. You should have a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate diverse teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously while solving complex problems efficiently.
