Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior PLC Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Design, develop, and maintain PLC software solutions for advanced crane automation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components
• Optimize software for performance, reliability, and safety in line with industry standards
• Analyze system specifications and hardware schematics to ensure technical alignment with project objectives
• Identify and address potential technical issues, proposing improvements to enhance system functionality and efficiency
• Perform thorough testing and validation of PLC code to ensure accuracy, compliance, and robustness
• Debug and resolve issues identified during development and testing phases
• Communicate project progress, risks, and potential delays effectively to stakeholders and project leads

What you bring:

• Engineering degree in computer science or a related technical discipline
• Proven hands-on experience with Codesys and/or C programming for PLC development
• Strong skills in algorithm design and optimization to support high-performance and responsive automation solutions
• Ability to work in a structured and self-organized manner, with a strong focus on documentation and task management
• Familiarity with PLC development tools and a solid understanding of crane automation functionality
• Previous experience in product development and iterative development processes is an advantage
• Proficient in both English and Swedish at a professional working level
• Understanding of project lifecycle with demonstrated competencies in project planning, execution, risk management, stakeholder communication, and quality control
