Client is seeking a dedicated Development Engineer to take ownership of understanding customer requirements, collaborating with their suppliers and internal team experts to devise efficient and innovative solutions, and ultimately designing those solutions. You will tackle challenging engineering tasks that will fuel your technical and personal growth within their dynamic environment. You will be entrusted with the responsibility for either one of their critical ECUs or inverters within one or more of their ongoing, groundbreaking projects.

What you will do:

As a Software Responsible, you will be the driving force behind the development of the Base Software for our ECUs or inverters throughout all project phases. You will be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working closely with Software and Hardware engineers, as well as the Software Architect and System Designer within group.

You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for their suppliers regarding the product(s) you are responsible for. This includes ensuring that the technology, cost, and timing align with the defined project targets. A strong technical understanding of the requirements within your area of responsibility is essential, enabling you to engage in constructive dialogues with both internal and external customers and our suppliers.

What you need to succeed:

• A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a similar relevant field.
• Proven experience in Base Software development for one or more of our product areas: inverter and/or ECM, TCM, etc. Knowledge of Autosar, application Software, and integration is highly valuable.
• The cross-functional nature of this role offers significant opportunities to expand your expertise in subsystem areas and grow your professional network.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are essential. Proficiency in Swedish is also highly desired for effective collaboration and communication within the team.
