To support this, we are expanding and enhancing our project management capabilities with this new role. As an IT Project Manager, you will lead complex, large-scale projects across various domains and ensure their success from start to finish. You will shape strategies, make impactful decisions, and drive organizational success. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about IT and project management to make a significant impact. The position is based at any of our company sites, as agreed.

Who you will work with:

As an IT Project Manager, you will be part of our CIO Office and report directly to Boliden Group’s CIO. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including project stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional departments. Together, you will tackle challenges, find solutions and deliver results. Your role will involve ensuring that IT deliverables align with business initiatives and maintaining strong relationships with all parties involved to achieve project success.

What you will do:

• Project planning: Lead the development of comprehensive project plans. Ensure that scope, requirements, and schedules are clear, documented and approved. Coordinate all preparation activities, including resource planning, architecture design and stakeholder analysis.
• Project execution: Oversee the execution of multiple projects, ensuring they meet targets and deadlines. Coordinate deliverables and manage risks and issues as they arise. Lead vendor management efforts and manage project resources.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships: Serve as the main interface between the project team and key stakeholders. Ensure strong relationships and keep everyone informed.
• Coaching and best practices: Provide guidance on project management best practices and develop tools to improve project management.
• Successful transitions: Ensure smooth transitions to production and oversee handover to stakeholders.

What you bring:

• A bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a similar field. Advanced certifications like PMP, PfMP, or Prince2 are a plus.
• At least 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
• Expertise in business case development, financial control and contract management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, along with proficiency in organizational change management.
• Clear and concise communication skills in English. Swedish and/or Finnish is beneficial.
• Confidence in leading and presenting to teams and stakeholders, with the ability to inspire and guide teams towards success.
