Don’t miss this opportunity to create your tomorrow.  Let's introduce ourselves Within Propulsion & Energy unit, we belong to Power Electronics department with the key product design responsibilities of traction Inverters (DC-AC), onboard chargers (AC-DC) & DC-DC converters. Currently, we are working on our third-generation power electronics products that goes into fully electric platform SPA3 with the forthcoming all-electric new EX60 as a first car on this platform. We are constantly working to improve our power electronics products design in terms of efficiency, power density, weight and cost with enhanced quality from one generation to the next. We have highly skilled team members in each of the technical domain such as power electronics systems, hardware and software designs. Most importantly, we prioritize the safety of the customers when using our vehicles and we apply this fundamental requirement to all our product designs.  What you'll do In this role as Power Electronics Software Architect, you will be part of Power Conversion Systems group focusing mainly on the Software architectures & design of DC-DC & AC-DC converters (known as on-board charger), technology roadmaps of conversion products & advance engineering projects in early concept phase.  The key responsibilities include * Design & build the power conversion products (DC-DC, AC-DC) software architectures * Define & lead the future SW technology roadmaps by working closely with concept leaders, program managers & technology managers  * Develop, lead & support the software development activities  * Develop & optimize the Power Converison products (DC-DC & DC-DC) digital control loops together with Power Electronics Controls engineers * Create & maintain the state-machines with logic flows for all the external & internal interfaces of Power Conversion products together with system engineers * Optimize the software implementation, integration processes & tool chain etc. to reduce the development efforts & cost * Define & Lead the Advance Engineering projects from early concept stage and derive the high-level pre-requisites for the next generation power conversion products  * Re-solving the technical issues in ongoing projects to improve the SW quality * Collaborate & Support the System Engineers & System Safety Engineers in the team with requirements breakdown, technical safety concepts & FMEA activities etc. * Perform benchmarking of Electric Vehicle propulsion architecture designs including the trends of integration & Power Conversion architectures from software perspective What you'll bring * Degree in Electrical / Electronics engineering or equivalent background * At least 8+ years of experience in Embedded Software design of Power Electronics applications * Must have a solid knowledge in writing & optimizing hand coding for Power Electronics applications including all the layers as per AUTOSAR (ex: application & base software) & non-AUTOSAR as well * Prior experience with automotive power electronics products SW design throughout complete product development life cycle * Solid fundamental knowledge of various microcontroller architectures & peripherals on how to use them. Prior experience working them is a bonus * Solid experience in embedded firmware development processes & tools * Good understanding of DC-DC & AC-DC converter modulation techniques & control loop designs  * Self-going & structured person with practical approach in problem solving  * Shall be a team-oriented person working together with other system engineers
