Permobil’s Site Sundsvall is growing – and we’re entering an exciting new phase. During autumn, we will relocate our production from Stockholm to Sundsvall and start up the manual wheelchair production in our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Birsta. This marks a major step in expanding our capabilities and uniting research, innovation, and manufacturing under one roof. We are now looking for a driven Production Supervisor who wants to take an active leadership role in this journey. This is a rare opportunity to be part of building something from the beginning – to shape teams, processes, and culture in a new and growing production environment.

The role is located to Sundsvall but will also involve some travel to Stockholm, particularly during the transition period, to support the relocation and knowledge transfer from our existing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and distribute daily work within your area of responsibility, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement.

Build and develop your team to enhance quality, delivery, efficiency, and profitability.

Drive the establishment and scaling of the manual wheelchair production.

Support the relocation of production from Stockholm and help create a high-performing organization in Sundsvall.

Guide and support your team’s PCI (Permobil Continuous Improvement) efforts.

Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Inspire and coach employees in the principles of PLS (Permobil Lean System).

Foster a collaborative and empowering team environment through performance management and continuous development.

Qualifications

Technical education from college/university or equivalent experience.

Proven leadership experience within machining, welding, and/or production environments.

Experience in project work or leading initiatives is meritorious.

Experience in change management or working in transformation settings is highly valuable.

Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

Willingness and ability to travel to Stockholm as part of the role.
