Your role and responsibilities

Join us at ABB and play a vital role in driving the green transition across Europe. We are seeking a re-sult oriented Sales Specialist to lead front-end sales activities within our Automation and Electrification portfolio. In this role, you’ll work with customers across Sweden, Finland, and Norway, as well as opportunities in the Baltics, UK and other key markets in Northern Europe. This way contributing to key projects in the Green transition, primarily in Battery Manufacturing and Cement industries, that are shaping a sustainable future. Reporting to Lweendo Ahnlund, Local Business Line Manager for Growth Industries in Sweden, you’ll be instrumental in identifying and converting new business opportunities into long-term success stories.


This position contributes to the Process Industries division, supporting the growth of our Automation and Electrification solutions across a geographically diverse region. Your main stakeholders will include cross-functional ABB teams, technical partners, and key customer decisionmakers.


In this role, you will have support from our global technical specialists and engineering pools.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from identifying customer needs to preparing tailored proposals, negotiating contracts, and securing deals.
  • Present technical solutions to customers and key stakeholders.
  • Actively communicate delivery timelines, payment terms, and conditions aligned with ABB's strategy and customer expectations.
  • Drive marketing initiatives, presenting ABB’s unique value proposition in Automation and Electrification to support the green transition.
  • Support project execution through sales-related administrative processes, cash collection, and cross-functional collaboration with technical teams.


Qualifications for the role

  • You are highly skilled in automation sales and thrive in the industrial or energy sectors, especially in green transition contexts.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in technical sales, ideally with a background in automation systems, electrification solutions, or similar.
  • You are adept at using CRM platforms, engineering/sales calculation tools, and can confidently put together a full technical offer in collaboration with other ABB departments.
  • You are passionate about customer engagement, solution-oriented thinking, and cross-border collaboration in diverse environments.
  • Experience from the Cement, Battery Manufacturing, or other relevant industries are a benefit.
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English, both verbal and written, is a must.
