Senior Cyber Security Engineer – Zero Trust & Hybrid Infrastructure

A seasoned Cyber Security Engineer is sought for a key role in a major security transformation project. The mission centers on implementing and refining Zero Trust Network Access strategies for both internal and external private applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to secure and optimize connectivity across data centers, cloud platforms (Azure and GCP), and external environments, leveraging industry-leading technologies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement network segmentation strategies for data centers
• Design, deploy, and fine-tune Zero Trust architectures across on-premises and cloud environments
• Work with Secure Service Edge (SSE) platforms such as Zscaler, Netskope, or similar
• Configure and manage IP-VPN solutions for secure hybrid communication (on-prem to Azure)
• Operate and maintain firewall systems (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto)
• Set up and monitor IDS/IPS systems
• Work with network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S
• Ensure a strong security posture across hybrid environments (Azure and GCP)

Profile Requirements:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in network and cyber security
• Proven knowledge in:
• Network segmentation and firewall administration
• SSE technologies
• VPN configuration in hybrid environments
• Intrusion detection and prevention
• Zero Trust Network Access frameworks
• Core networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS, etc.)
• Comfortable working independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent command of spoken and written English

Certification:

• Required: Microsoft Certified – Azure Security Engineer Associate (e.g., AZ-104 or equivalent)

Assignment Details:

• Location: Stockholm (20% onsite expected)
• Remote Work: Up to 80%
• Engagement: Full-time (100%)
• Duration: September 1, 2025 – November 30, 2026
• Interviews: Ongoing, with continuous CV review
