Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights to support data-driven decision-making
• Develop, implement, and validate predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve real-world business challenges
• Preprocess and clean raw data to ensure high quality and integrity prior to analysis
• Create clear and effective visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as engineering, product management, and marketing to understand data needs and deliver relevant solutions
• Prepare and present comprehensive reports summarizing key findings, methodologies, and recommendations

What you bring:

• Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or a related discipline
• Strong programming skills in Python or R
• Solid understanding of statistical principles and their application in machine learning
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and SciPy
• Deep expertise in deep learning techniques, model architectures, and hyperparameter optimization
• Very good knowledge of GenAI with strong understanding of foundation models and transformer architecture
• Experience in SQL and working with relational databases
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib and Seaborn
• Experience working with big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure is advantageous
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git
• Previous experience in the field of genomics is a plus
