Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
- Act as a central liaison in the tool and fixture manufacturing process, collaborating closely with tool design, project management, production, and quality assurance
- Prepare and maintain product data in the business system (SAP), including planning for production and coating processes
- Assess delivery times and prepare cost estimates to support planning accuracy and efficiency
- Follow up on and update product calculations to ensure consistency and reliability
- Participate actively in order reviews and planning meetings to support operational alignment
- Manage purchasing tasks in coordination with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts aimed at optimizing production efficiency and workflow effectiveness
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, requiring structured prioritization under time-sensitive conditions
What you bring:
- University degree in engineering or economics, or equivalent relevant education or experience
- Proven experience in planning and preparation work within a manufacturing or production environment
- Several years of hands-on experience in production technology and methodology
- Strong general mechanical engineering knowledge with practical application in an industrial setting
- Fluent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written (mandatory requirement)
- Basic proficiency in English, both spoken and written
- High IT literacy, with extensive experience working in production-oriented ERP systems
- Prior experience working with SAP R3 and the MS Office suite
- Previous exposure to tool and fixture manufacturing is considered a strong merit
- Excellent communication skills and a service-minded approach, contributing positively to team dynamics
- A curious, responsible, and committed mindset with a structured and goal-oriented work style
- Strong ability to work independently and proactively identify and implement solutions
