As a Senior UX Researcher at Novacura, you will lead user research and usability engineering for a suite of products that enable professionals with limited to no programming skills to effortlessly create, launch, and manage web & mobile apps. Imagine a tool where you draw your apps and their behaviors without needing to code.

You'll play a vital role in bringing users, technology, business, and technologists together to create innovative solutions to user needs. You will ensure that our users are delighted by making sure that our products embody high levels of usability, utility and interaction design.

You'll collaborate with development teams engaged in web, iOS, and android app development, as well as web-based data visualization dashboards.

As a Senior UX Researcher at Novacura you will:

• Plan and lead user research studies and usability evaluations, identify and prioritize research needs between products and features
• Develop and maintain user groups
• Lead and mentor the UX group in UX research and usability engineering.
• Develop methods for user research and usability engineering as well as mentor designers in conducting usability tests and usability reviews.
• Lead process improvement to increase product UX performance and efficiency of development through a structured process for identifying, prioritizing and collecting user insight
• Participate in UX design development and provide feedback

You’re a strategic thinker with a passion for understanding users and turning insights into action. You’ve spent years navigating complex product ecosystems and know how to ask the right questions, uncover hidden needs, and communicate findings that influence design, product, and business decisions.

You thrive in cross-functional teams and view research as a collaborative, ongoing conversation not a one-time report. You design mixed-methods studies, synthesize data, run workshops to align stakeholders and use visual means such as prototyping tools to express your vision and insight to influence product design.

You are curious about people, behavior, technology, and how all three come together in great product experiences.

We believe you have experience in the following areas:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in human computer interaction, interaction design or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience in UX Research, usability engineering, UX concept development or similar
• Experience in driving one’s own work and mentoring design professionals
• User centered design methods, qualitative and quantitative research and usability evaluation
• Digital user interface design
• Figma or other prototyping experience
• Knowledge or interest in software development
• Portfolio demonstrating projects delivered with the skills above
